The Hall of the Winter Riding School

The Spanische Hofreitschule, or the Spanish Riding School is one of the oldest riding schools in European history. Their steeds of choice are the muscular Lipizzaner who demonstrate the haute école movements of the classical dressage.
This is the Winter Riding School's main hall, located between the Michaelerplatz and the Josefsplatz. It is being prepped for the "2014 FÊTE IMPÉRIALE". I wish I could have taken part in this ball, unfortunately I was a bit too late in booking it.
